UCSF acceptance letters?

Hi all,

I have applied for a masters at UCSF and was wondering if anyone who has also has any info on when they start sending letters out. Deadline was Feb 2nd, so I'm not expecting anything soon, but am just curious if anyone has any info they'd pass along.

I applied to the FNP traditional masters program and got an email yesterday stating I am on the alternate list. Hoping a spot will perhaps open up for me! Good luck to the rest of you...if you applied to FNP you should hear soon!

I got an email on Friday. The email said a decision was available but that I had to follow an attached link to log in to my account at UCSF (for security purposes). I did! and my status read "admitted". I was given until April 14th to respond.

I applied to the Critical Care/Trauma CNS specialty. Good luck everyone.

Congratulations BayArea 2010! I got your PM message, but I am unable to PM you back. I am still looking at UCSF for the FNP track and thinking of applying for next year, we'll see how these prereqs go. If you could PM me your email, I would be able to get back with you! i got in for the NNP prgram for this Fall! so now to look for a place and a job (i am from LA)

Hi Anali, congrats on getting in to UCSF NNP tract. I am also interested in applying to UCSF NNP- probably in 2 years. Would you care to share any work/ volunteer experience that you did that you felt helped you get in? I am having difficulty figuring out what experience I can get besides being a bedside "hugger" - which I plan to do anyway. Do you feel anything else helped you get in- amazing GRE scores, second language, etc. Thanks in advance and again congratulations!
