UCSD april/may 2018 new grad RN

Hi everyone! I applied to the surgical ICU new grad RN position at UCSD Med Center for April/May 2018. Did anyone else and if so, what does your application status say? Mine says referred to hiring department 3/28.

I applied for the new grad NICU position and was offered the position last week!

I think if your application says referred to hiring department then there's a good chance you'll be contacted for an interview! Good luck! :)

Hi- I also applied to SICU and it also said "referred to hiring department" on 3/28...haven't heard anything since.

How long did it take for you to hear back from the time of your interview?

A few hours after my interview I received the references email. I got a call a few days later with an offer.

Hi, do you know how long it took for you to schedule an interview once your status changed to "Referred to Hiring Dept" ? I applied for the Med/Surg position and my status says "Referred to Hiring Dept" but has not been updated since 4/17.

Hi! I'm also wondering how long it took for everyone to get a call or email from HR after the status change. I applied for the BMT unit on 4/30 and my status changed to "Referred to Hiring Dept" on 5/3. Thanks!

Hi! My friend recently interviewed and said it took a few weeks after the status changed to "referred to hiring dept".

UC service workers on all University of California campuses held a three-day strike this week and I believe some RNs participated in a sympathy strike!
