UCONN 2021

Published

Starting a thread for all those applying to UConn's CEIN program for the 2021 cohort. I know this is WAY in advance... but hey, might as well get this rolling! Maybe we can post some advice for prereqs, and application process in the meantime!

Hi! I thought nursingcas sends the application to uconn once it is verified. Should I have received an email from Heather?

No you are good. When NursingCAs verifies you then you are all set. But I would still send UConn an email to check if they received your payment for the application proceedings just to be safe

Do you know when the next meeting is? Someone said it was last Wednesday on July 8? The anticipation is killing me

I was contacted via email on July 8th about a question regarding my transcripts. After we cleared that up...I was informed by Uconn that my application was likely to be reviewed at the next meeting on the 22nd.

Do you know how long it takes to hear back from the applicant review meeting?

Based on some of the comments I've read in this thread, some found out within a day or so after the meeting. I know I'm definitely anxious to hear back. Good luck!

Where did everyone apply to? I applied to the waterbury branch!

I applied for Avery point!

Do you know if they’ll review application even if one reference letter is missing? I applied on July 6th everything is in but that one letter.

the anticipation is killing me. Good luck to everyone!

Specializes in None.

They will review it. most likely it will be consider incomplete. And even if it they don’t they might not consider u as they are many applicants that took this serious enough to complete it all. So you will fall to the back of the line. Not trying to kill your hopes but this is a very competitive program and they want people who can follow instructions and when it comes to recommendations trust me they take it serious so they hope u do too.

Did anyone hear back about their application recently?

My application was supposed to be reviewed at the meeting on the 22nd but I haven't heard anything yet.

Same!! I heard they were meeting on the 22nd as well and I still haven’t heard anything! I’m dying over here
