UCLAs application for their Summer 2017 New Graduate Residency program opened this weekend so figured I'd start the forum where we could all converse, update and support each other through the LONG and stressful process.

Hey guys, for those accepted your status says Extended Offer/Accepted? Waiting until the end of July to hear more from them for the next steps is anxious, because I want to look for apartments already!
Yep that's what mine says and they said to just wait till it gets closer for more job info. I would start looking for apartments, I did :)
Hello, Im a senior right now and I am highly interested in applying for the residency program. I have been doing reserach on what is it that UCLA hospital look for in those applyign for the New Grad Resindency program, but I haven't found much info about this topic. Those of you who were offered an interview, would you be so kind to list what you believe got you an interview please, maybe add your academic stats (volunteering, research, certifications, etc), any recommendations you have would be greatly appreciate it.
Good luck to every one!
Hi!
To those of you who applied for this cohort I was hoping to ask for some feedback about the application. I will be applying for the winter 2018 one.
What exactly is required for the application besides your cover letter and resume? How many letters of recommendation? And are there specifics for that (like who you need to ask)?
TIA!
