Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the Summer 2024 Cohort at UCLA. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

I know that that the application window for the Summer 2024 Cohort opens up in March! Good luck to all of us ❤️

Hi guys! I have a dilemma. So Nicholas called my friend at around 8:30 today and asked when she'll be done with her BSN. And basically, she told him that we'll have our BSN by June 7, and ALL West Coast University campuses walk on stage on July 12 (which is an option for us if we wanna walk on stage, and this graduation is going to consist of those who finished the program on January, April, and June). He told my friend that she can't apply for the Summer cohort, and would have to apply again in September for the Spring cohort in 2025, and told her that he would cancel her application. From what he said in the zoom orientation was that we could apply if we'll have our BSN by June 30 (which we will have before that day). I'm super confused and really scared that he might cancel my application too. I think he might've called me earlier too, because I got a missed call from an unknown phone number at around 8:30 as well.

I wouldn't cancel the application if you'll have it before the deadline? Doesn't make sense they said you'd be okay and now they're saying now? Especially if your official grad date is before the 30th

Right! I was thinking that maybe he got confused by what she said and thought that we graduate on July 12 (which is just the walking on stage), when in reality, we get our BSN on June 7.

Yeah no don't worry and don't cancel your application. Just finish your BSN as expected and get your license before the deadline! 🥳

Update: I got an email earlier saying that my application was 'sent to the hiring manager for further consideration'. I'm guessing that's a good sign?

@cchung1 Hi, I logged back on and noticed they uploaded my resume onto my application. I think it would be best to email (program email on nurse residency website) your updated resume and explain what occurred.

Did you email them after you submitted the application or before? I'm having the same issue!

I emailed after submitting the app! I sent them my resume and explained what happened.
