Published

Hi guys! The application for UCLA's new grad program is opening up soon so I created this for us to connect and post updates ?

The assessment is a Talent Personality Assessment that company uses to filter out the 'qualified' candidates. The hospital typically has a threshold and it allows them to weed out the ones that do not fit within their 'culture' - which is why the questions are long. With thousands of applicants that they received, the assessment will narrow it down to a few - it's pretty crazy!

I've applied in their ED since I am doing my preceptorship in the ED. What about you?

Hello everyone!

I was just reviewing the New Graduate page and I saw there are new dates for the Summer cohort. It now says March 2nd-20th. Does this mean we can submit apps until the 20th? Thanks!!

It looks like they extended the deadline then! I thought it was originally open from 3/4 to 3/14. And just to be clear, interviews are held in May correct?

Yes, in the webinar they said that interviews will be held in May but we should know if we have been selected for an interview sometime in April. Not sure if the deadline extension will delay that timeline

Hello,

I never even found a link for a webinar for their information session, and I have spent hours on their site for the new grad program before I even started nursing school. I don't know how I missed it! Hopefully what I turned in is close enough to what they wanted. I just followed the guidelines they listed on the site. I applied for the NICU since that is where I have accumulated the most hours. Good luck to everyone!

I applied for the cards ICU

I applied to pediatrics!

Did anyone not get a full assessment? On my end the application showed up as submitted , a “custom assessment” for that position shows up as completed, and I got an email saying my application was submitted. But I never got a full 45 minute assessment ?

Have you applied to any positions at UCLA before? I didn't get the assessment either but I applied to an RN position there a while ago and completed the assessment then, so they already had my answers.

Oh my goodness that must be it-thank you for saving me from an impending heart attack, I was so worried I did something wrong and would not be able to fix my application!

Is there supposed to be more than one assessment?

I'm not sure? When I applied for a position (months ago) it was just one long one.

If I remember correctly, it was just one long assessment.

does anyone have any idea when they start sending out interview requests or review applications?
