Hi everyone!

I created this thread for those who applied to the UCLA New Grad OR Training Program for the Winter 2026 cohort! I'm excited for this opportunity! Let's update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

Hello! I believe that the slots are specific to the RR Main OR - when the director talked about the timeline during the interview, she mentioned that they had interviews lined up til next week or so, (they plan on sending offers first week of Dec, maybe sooner) and that matches the list of zoom links/slots shared via email. They originally had 32 slots, but they added four more.

OK thank you! I was just wondering bc someone in the other ucla residency thread said they had an interview for Westwood ASC today that was cancelled so I thought maybe they were also included in the 36. The director told me they are hiring 6 for RR Main OR.

Oh no! That is so out of the blue- maybe they got stuck in a case or something? I hope they follow-up on that. They did mention the 17th for interviews and I'm pretty sure that date is not included on the link - maybe there's a connection there, but I am not 100% sure.

Hi! For RR Main OR they said this is the last week of interviews. The interview link lists tmrw as the final interview day. They will review and let us know by the first week of December. I interviewed early so this info may have changed if they had to reschedule some interviews.

I interviewed recently and was also told they're still interviewing this week and possibly next week then making decisions as early as 12/1

I called yesterday since we were told we'd hear back by last week latest. They said we'll get a response by dec 23rd.

Not yet- mine still says in review. Im pretty sure I didn't get in...I saw a couple people have status changes though- congrats to the ones who got in!!

Unfortunately, I'm still "in review.” At this point, considering the fact that I'm from out-of-state, I'm taking it as slim to none as far as my chances are in securing a spot. A bit heartbreaking, but it is what it is. Congrats to those who are hired!! Maybe we'll cross paths someday. 😉
