I am beginning the new grad program at UCLA Medical Center sometime in August (we haven't been informed of a start date yet) and wanted to see if there are any other new grads out there starting the program too. I am moving to LA in July and am really nervous about the big step (I am from Michigan) . Any advice from current UCLA employees or nurses? I am working in the Neuro/Trauma ICU, any current ICU nurses who can tell me what to expect? Thanks in advance for the help! :-)
Hey I've got a question for Lisa....if she is still looking at this thread. What school did you go to? I'm from Michigan as well (MSU) and am thinking about applying to UCLA too.
This goes for everyone who has just moved out there: how do you guys like it? Did any hospitals have a problem with applying from outside of CA? I know it's expensive and it's none of my business you make but are you living comfortably? I am getting sick of student housing...hahaha.
