Hello! I just wanted to start a thread for the UCLA MSN 2016 applicants. I know not a day goes by where I am not thinking about the application I submitted and whether or not it is good enough to get me accepted. Anyways, it would be great to hear from the MSN applicants from all the specialties as we face the long wait before our fates are decided.
No worries, I sent mine November 30th haha took me a while to refine my personal statement, I looked at previous threads in 2015 and some users received the same email as me, I really hope this is a good thing. My parents are already too excited!
Hopefully you get an email from SON soon! Congrats again! :) Hopefully I get an email as well the wait is killing me!
Also, beware if the sender email address is being sent to junk mail, just search for [email protected]

Keep us posted if you hear back from SON! :)
Congrats to everyone that has been accepted so far! I wasn't expecting decisions to be made this early even though I check my status nearly every day. Mine hasn't changed. Am I getting this right? Is it just the primary care track that is getting notifications? Has anyone for peds, family, or acute care gotten a response?
Hello all!
I heard this morning, and I'm accepted for the adult geriatric primary care NP program, I'm quite surprised to hear so early, but so happy! Can't wait to hear back from future classmates, where are you all from? I live in corona, ca (inland empire), probably going to look at a rental nearby, due to the insane traffic :)
I have been checking frequently since the morning, finally the result was there this late afternoon. Instead of checking the status on application page, check it on https://appstatus.grad.ucla.edu/Account/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fSecure%2fAdmissionStatus.aspx
Use the same ID and PW that you created for the application. Mine still says submitted on application status, but got the acceptance letter under decision status page :)
good luck to all.

I was reading posts from the 2015 cohort and a lot of them started receiving letters in mid February, in a similar fashion as me (via email) or some checked their admission status directly at the ucla portal. They also mentioned that acceptance letters were sent over a period of 2-3 weeks so don't give up. Here's the previous threads.. https://allnurses.com/post-graduate-nursing/ucla-msn-fall-958078-page3.html
