Hi, I wanted to make this thread specifically for those who applied for the MSN/ APRN Fall 2023 cohort to see if anyone has gotten accepted yet.

Which programs did you guys apply for? Accepted too but choosing between CSULA and UCLA . Tuition fees are the biggest concern
I applied for the Adult /Gerontology NP Program. I know cal state programs are cheaper than UC. Best of luck to you whichever you decide to go.

I think I'm going to go with UCLA as well!
I am local-ish, going to commute from NoHo which is just a 30 min drive! I don't know how much you're willing to spend, but if you're interested, I love my apartment, it's brand new haha! Alexan in NoHo.
I wonder if any of you guys have already taken Physiology and Physical Assessment, class or planning to enroll in the Summer at UCLA?
Planning to enroll for this Summer. You can register for the nursing-3 course now. Pricey tho. $1800 for the class.

Hello All! I've tried looking into other areas but I've been unsuccesful. Congratulations to you all who've been accepted! Curious, I was planning to apply to UCLA APRN program for next fall 2024. What were your current stats when applying? Example: GPA, years of experience, recommendation letters, etc. GPA is a big one for me since I'm scared I won't get in. Applying for UCLA and CSULA 2024 APRN cohorts. Thanks a bunch!
hi there,
UCLA does not require work experience but obviously, it will be beneficial for you if you have experience. Also, a low GPA shouldn't be a reason for you to discourage from applying. They will ask you to submit your GPA, Statement of Purpose, Personal Statement, Resume, and 3 letters of Recommendation. They will make a decision based on the overall information you submitted. Good Luck!!

Hi there! Applying to NP school this fall for next fall and am interested in the UCLA FNP program. For those of you who got in, would you mind sharing what your experience, GPA, etc looked like? Just wondering if I have a shot at this program! Thanks!
