UCLA MSN/APRN FALL 2022

Hello everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the UCLA MSN Fall 2022 cohort since applications are now submitted. Hope we can all support each other through this process.

I applied for the FNP program. What program did you guys apply for? Good luck to everyone!!

What?! That’s annoying! Summer classes start august. What about financial aide and loans - what’s the timeline for that ? I also wished that they would be more responsive. Do you guys call or email the admission counselors? Because everytime I call, no one answers and when I send an email they do not respond until  a week later or do not follow up.

I was told by the end of June… but I asked back at the end of May.

mid-July is pushing it for those of us out of state.

I just email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) in admissions

 How are we to get financial aid going if Summer classes start at the beginning of August? I was already nervous at doing it in a month!

I just talked to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) one of the recruitment coordinators. She said they’re ideally supposed to be giving out decisions week, but they’re delayed and they have not reviewed all the applications yet so she said HOPEFULLY we will hear by next week.

So for most of us it should still be this week, but for the delayed applications they haven’t gotten to yet it will be next? Gah, They are killing me…? LOL

No LOL she said the decisions are supposed to be made this week, but they’re delayed and not done looking through all the applications so she said HOPEFULLY they’ll be able to send out decisions by next week ?

Just spoke with JG as well. she said they are delayed and decisions will not be out this week.
They can only release decisions once all apps are reviewed and they haven’t been yet. Apparently once the committee makes the decisions, they have to release it and then adjust the status electronically and that takes a couple days too. Which is why it is looking like by the *end* of next week LOL. ????

OMG! That’s crazy! I don’t understand how we are expected to take classes in August and potentially move to LA etc
