UCLA MSN/APRN FALL 2021

Hey y’all! I wanted to start a thread for the UCLA MSN Fall 2021 cohort! Finalized my application in January so I’ve been playing the waiting game for about a month now...? 

What program did you guys apply for? Has anyone gotten any correspondence from anyone on the Admissions committee ?? Any inside scoop on the notification timelines?

I think fall might be online too. I looked at the schedule of classes for the classes that we should be taking (according to last year’s guide) and all of them say online except one. Orientation on July 28 is also going to be online.

That automated email with the due date of June 18 threw me off too!  I paid for my Summer class (Physiology) today because I received that email.  About two weeks ago I emailed CK to ask him about the due date and he told me it wasn't until the day before my class started.  My Physiology class starts on 8/02 so I was thinking I had time, but then that email came so I just went ahead and paid for it today.  I was going to email CK to ask for clarification on the due date, but I believe he has already retired from UCLA and someone new has taken over so I did not email anyone.  I just went ahead and paid for my class ?

Hey guys, while I was writing my previous response, MC wrote me back regarding my question about the new FA Director.  I have her email address if anyone wants it.  Send me a DM so I can give it to you and you can ask her about payment for Physical Assessment.

I'm late to this thread (just found it today), but I'll be in the AG-ACNP program this upcoming fall! ?  

So hard trying to plan my Aug/Sept schedule with the unknown class/lab schedule ? Does anyone have updates regarding enrolling in N175 Physical Assessment class? I emailed SD earlier this week, but nothing yet. Anybody paid for class yet?

Hi guys!  Just wondering how everyone is planning on making it through the program successfully.  I would like to work full time, but I also know that might be a bit much for my sanity.  So, I am thinking on maybe doing two 12s, Saturdays and Sundays (still trying to work that out with my employer).  Are you planning on working at all?  Thanks for sharing!

I'll be dropping to part-time before school starts and see how that goes. I don't think I can work full time for my sanity! ?

Hi all! Does anyone want to make a FB group so that we can all help each other since we are taking most of our classes virtually in the fall except for labs? So we can all help each other to pass :)
