Anyone applying for the MEPN Program at UC Irvine this year? Keep us updated if you receive any new information from the school! :)

I also don't have the strongest clinical background, but I do have a lot of public health background. I got my BA in Public Health in Dec 2015 and will be finishing my MPH in Epidemiology next week. Pretty much all of my experience is in public health-y things (health education, community outreach, data analysis, etc.) at the school, county, or state level. If I had to guess, those experiences are probably the strongest part of my app because I think (hope?) that it showed my dedication to community-level care. Since UCI is such a small, specific program, I would think that they looked for something like that. More so than the stats/numbers like GPA and test scores.

Hey guys! I contacted Saddleback College. Here is some info:
1. They recieved 232 applications...
2. They will notify us, "by May.....but hopefully April."
3. They will notify us via MAIL
Does anyone know how many applicants applied from the last cohort?
Goodluck to everyone !

To the people that called UCI SON how did you guys get through? I just want to know when or how they're sending out rejections. I didn't get an invite either so I'm assuming I got rejected but I want to know for sure.

I also did not receive an invite but also did not receive an update on my status. Going to attempt to call tomorrow but does anyone know when the last day they are suppose to give us a response by?

I want to say that the "final response email" will be sent out late April.
For those who interviewed, any of you got the "acceptance" email? I'm anxious to know if I should still be waiting for an email or not.

I just got the email updating me on my status to the program. I did not get in but it's okay, accept offer elsewhere already. Congrats to those who did though, 6% acceptance rate. That's a big accomplishment!
@ahuynh Did they tell you that you're on the waitlist ?

Did you get on the waitlist ???@ahuyhh
@WeGotThisNurses @siflores84 no I didn't. I got rejected. I'm assuming only those who got interviewed can be waitlisted but I wasn't invited for an interview either.
