Hello! I am interested in the residency program at UCH that starts in July, anyone else? :)
The birth center has started sending out rejection letters. I know another department is, too (though I'm not sure which one). I don't know which departments are still sending out interview invitations. Good luck to everyone!
Sourapril: it's by email.
Celeste2013: I'm interviewing on June 3rd. Pretty nervous, as I don't know anything about these interviews and it's my first nursing interview ever.
Okay guys im OUT! Got my rejection letter. Bummer but I already have two job offers here in FL--silly to turn down, but I thought this was a good opportunity :) And I am so happy for you all that were/will be accepted!
GO GET that NICU job thefmgirl--that's what I went for & I am so excited for you!! You will do great. Look up frequently asked questions: know your biggest challenge during clinicals & how you handled it, they will ask scenerios I am sure! Just be confident and relax-you're already half way there!! Also look up appropriate attire if you're really nervous & unless they tell you not to bring a portfolio, Bring one!! You have time to put a little something together! Good luck!! Saying a prayer for ya!
Thanks, Celeste2013! I am definitely nervous. I've been looking up interview questions and trying to prepare. I have a portfolio being printed, if it arrives in time. Otherwise, I'm off to Kinko's last minute :) I guess I'll just be at peace with the fact if it is meant to be, it will be. They are interviewing 7 people for 3 positions. While those odds sound pretty good to me, I know they have 3 people who did their practicum there. So, it should be interesting. No matter what, a great experience!
Best of luck to everyone!

My interview is on the 3rd as well. MICU/SICU. Do you know how many positions they're hiring for on those units? Good luck! I'm super excited but when I think about interviewing I want to throw up!
And good luck!!!
Celeste2013, thank you for the well-wishes. Do you think you will apply for the October cohort?

I heard Saturday for NICU. A friend heard about the same day for Oncology. Another friend just heard for MICU. We are all in-state, but I don't know that makes a difference. I was given the choice to choose an interview time. There were 7 slots available, so I'm not sure if they are only interviewing 7 people or if those were just the times I was given. I was told the interview would last about 20 minutes.
