Hello fellow nurses!! Does anyone have any information regarding UCH Long Term Acute Care Hospital in Land O'Lakes? I have an interview next week and am anxious to learn more about their facility. I have been interested in Kindred since I had a clinical there in school and was thrilled when I learned that UCH had a LTAC hospital as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Especially if anyone knows what an LPN with 1 year experience (as a nurse and 5 years as CNA) can expect to make there.

I had an interview this past Monday at another local Tampa hospital, but the money offered is almost a joke. They called today and I have time to think before calling back. I just can't imagine working for that little. I work in LTC now with a Baylor position, so the money is pretty good. I just really want to get into the hospital setting! But, I can't afford to make a $10/hr paycut which I would if I accept the position offered today!

I'm really excited for the opportunity to work with UCH especially in LTAC. I really liked that setting in school!! Looking for some good advice where to start!!

I did my clinicals at Kindred also. UCH LTAC is a lot different...I'm sure you will really like it!! And, if you are interested in critical care this is a great place to start!! You will learn a lot.
