I know this is kind of early, but I just wanted to know, for the people who are applying to ucf's traditional bsn program for 2020, what are your stats? I was looking at the forum for last year's applicants and that got me really nervous since many of those people had some pretty amazing stats, and some didn't even get accepted. I plan on applying to either Daytona or Orlando campuses, though Daytona is my first choice
Hi! I am currently in the Daytona UCF BSN program. I don't live in Daytona but I live close to the area, and the UCF campus is actually a joint building to the Daytona State College campus. As far as the area, I'd say its pretty safe, but I would do my own research! There are a few apartments close by to the Daytona campus as far as I know. For the program, it is the traditional BSN so it is 5 consecutive semesters. I would visit the UCF college of nursing website- they have tons of resources including previous admission statistics, specific classes to take within each semester, program costs etc. Daytona follows the same program outline as the other 2 campuses. Good luck with your application!
does anyone know if multiple campuses can invite you? my choices were orlando , cocoa , daytona . but now I regret putting cocoa as my second since I can’t seem to find any apartments near the cocoa campus just incase . I really wanna go into daytona now . but do you think I still have a shot with daytona even tho I selected it as my third option ? ? I have a 89.3 on my TEAS ( btw I’m coming from miami so apartment finding near campus is top priority for me )

Hi, I don't have reddit- I'm sorry!

I believe if you get accepted-you get an acceptance email from the campus that you chose as first, and you get denied/waitlisted from other campuses. At least that is what happen with me. My first choice was Daytona, and I put Orlando as my second choice and cocoa as my third. I got an acceptance email under Daytona and a denied email under Orlando! I don't think multiple campuses invite you-correct me if I'm wrong though!
If anything you can reach out to UCF college of nursing advising or program coordinators to see if maybe they have more information on this! I hope you get into the campus you want though! Good luck!

Hey guys, I’m applying to the UCF traditional BSN for fall 2021 at Daytona and Cocoa since I already have a different degree and am not eligible for main campus. I was wondering if anybody that is currently in those programs and give me some more information about the program and the area in general. I have to relocate for either so I’m really concerned because I know nothing about the area and just want to feel safe! I also can’t find anything online comparing the two programs so I want to know which would be a better fit for me. I previously graduated from FSU with 3.6 GPA and 85 TEAS. I’m really worried because this semester is supposedly the most competitive because there are sooo many applicants!
