UCF Spring 2018

Published

Hello future nurses,

I couldn't find a forum discussing the UCF Spring 2018 Traditional BSN program so I started my own. Is anyone planning on apply to the UCF Spring 2018 Traditional program? If so, what campus? Daytona or Coco? Why did are you choosing that campus? I'm really sad that they don't have a Spring program in Orlando.

I'm leaning toward Daytona, but the rent for the apartments are kind of pricey.

Hello, everyone, I got accepted to cocoa campus, the problem I have right now is to rent an apartment around the school. Is there anyone try to rent an apartment or try to find a roommate?

I was "waitlisted" for the 2018 BSN program at the Daytona campus. Heartbroken.

Pardoner, which campus will you be attending?

AB1021, I'm sorry you are feeling such disappointment, I really am. I know how it feels to be in your position and as much as you try to prepare for the worst, it still stings- a lot. The silver lining is that you're not completely denied from the program so there is still a chance you can be accepted. Best of luck to you and big hugs.

Daytona campus for me...

Getting a start on the background stuff. We don't have much time to get it done.

That might create an opportunity for people on the list if someone waits too long.

Yeah I started the background check too, i feel it's going to be a long process lol, I'm still waiting for review of the disclosure agreement we had to fill out as a PDF

That is that first form you need to upload to CastleBranch right? They said it could take up to 48 hrs.

Yea, my form is still processing. However my background check results already came back and I just finished my fingerprints.

You were able to do your fingerprints before the first form is done processing?

Thought you could only get access to schedule the next step after that form is accepted?

The basic background stuff looks like it also came back for me also.

All of the instructions were in the email (which are the exact same as what pops up on Castle Branch after the waiver goes through). I was a little hesitant, but knew that if I didn't complete the fingerprinting today, I wouldn't be able to do it until Tuesday..and that was cutting it too close!

Humm.... Didn't know you could get it done before the VEHC was approved. If I don't see it approved tomorrow, I will try going straight to Daon to get it done.

You went to a UPS Store? Pretty simple procedure?

Yup, in and out in just a few minutes. The only location was 45 minutes away from me and I knew I wouldn't be able to make it during their business hours unless I went ahead and did it today.
