UCF Concurrent SSC/VCC Fall 2013

Hey guys! I have been searching to see if anybody has started a thread for those who have/are applying to UCFs Concurrent Programs! The ones I am interested in are Seminole State's and Valencia's Concurrent Programs. Has anybody else applied to UCFs Concurrent Programs for the Fall of 2013?!

Anyone applying to the VC program as well?

I'm also applying to both of these programs as well as the Basic UCF (my first choice). I was 91 over at the Altamonte campus!

I'm applying to VC as soon as I figure out my stupid Atlas login :p

I'm a little nervous about the Valencia application because it says you can't apply until college transcripts have been evaluated, which takes 30 days! I just sent them in yesterday, and the deadline is the 12th. :unsure:

I sent an email to the advisor regarding this and it said --"

UCF and Valencia have separate application deadlines for the concurrent program. You may apply to UCF even if your transcripts haven't arrived at Valencia. Valencia's application deadline has not been set at this time, however will be after UCF's deadline. If the transcript was sent electronically, I suggest checking with the Answer Center on any campus in a few days.

So I guess as long and ucf has it before their deadline we should be good and that we should submit the app with ucf and wait a little bit for Valencia . I am emailing her back now just to clarify

Hi Everyone!

Which science pre-reqs are you using to recalculate your science GPA? Are you only using AP I, APII and microbiology? Thanks for any assistance :)

Oh thank you! That's awesome. I requested an application from UCF for Valencia but I haven't received it yet...

Hey I got a reply

" You may apply to UCF and if you are accepted, UCF will provide you with instructions for applying to Valencia."

Thanks tcamp! I realized that since I also requested the SSC application, I can't receive another one and I just have to e-mail the advisor to also send that application to Valencia.

Hope you all get your applications sorted out! Applying to two schools for one program can be very complicated!

I discovered that I had to send my official TEAS scores to Valencia (SSC will take a copy for their application) so I ordered them to be sent to Valencia and I'm going to give it a couple days to make sure they have it on file.

Unless anyone knows if the TEAS scores are automatically sent?

Wait! So we can't request apps for 2 concurrent programs?

When I did the apps on the UCF side I just filled out one application and checked the boxes for both SSC and VCC. Then a specific app for each school.
