UC Davis Residency 2024

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has any updates on the UC Davis 2024 residency? I didn't see a forum. Good luck everyone!

@AMon my application also says under review. From what I've been reading, they base it off your cover letter? 🤷🏻‍♀️ can someone share some insight, for those who have gotten a position in the past cohorts please.

I was advised to include what specialities I was open to in my cover letter.

Has anyones application updated other than "under review" for cohort 50/51? Or have an idea of when we'll hear back? TIA

Mine is still Under review but I was informed the updates will begin now early May til 1 month from the two start dates. Next update would say something like sent for further consideration and at some point the department hiring managers will call or email for interviews.

Mine just says "rerouted for further consideration", but I haven't been contacted or anything else...

Mine still says under review, I didn't submit my application until 4/6. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. But hoping it updates soon :)

Hey guys!

Anyone who interviewed for medsurg this week? Would love to know your experience. And if anyone has input regarding the process post-interview, please let me know what to expect. They said if they are proceeding with my application, I should hear back in no later than a week.

Did they say that for just your application,  or does it apply to other candidates as well?

Also, did your application status chang at all?

Hi! 
About a week and a half ago, my status online changed from "Application Under Review" to "Routed to Further Consideration". I received a call on 5/22 and interviewed today, 5/24. This is for a medsurg position. I am not sure if this is for the entire cohort (all specialties) or just this round for medsurg, but they said if I were to be joining the August 5th cohort, then I'd hear back by the next week. Hope that helps!

If you don't mind me asking, how was the interview?  And do you have any pointers for an applicant trying to stand out?
