Members are discussing the status of their job applications, specifically focusing on the application status, interview process, and waiting for job offers. Some members are sharing their experiences with reference checks and the timeline for receiving job offers after interviews. Additionally, there are discussions about specific units like NICU and questions about the number of people being hired in the upcoming cohorts.
It's that time, here's a thread for anyone applying to UC Davis' new graduate RN program for the August 2025 cohort.
Good luck everyone !
Mine still says reviewed. It has said that since the day after the application closed. I don't think it matters how soon your application was reviewed to determine if you will get routed. I saw on a Facebook group there are like 3 people that said there's says "route" now. @caremar do you happen to know what your friends put on their cover letter for where they would like to go? ICU? Peds?.... I didn't really specify. I just said I'm excited to learn in any area and that the more units I see the more areas I am interested in. I did mention L&D, med surg and oncology as particular areas of interest.
Got routed for further consideration today! (mentioned NICU as my interest). I do know that they route based on department. I went straight from applied to routed. Never saw reviewed or under review on my application. This morning it was still applied and later it was routed. I think it's unpredictable. 😕

I think some people have gotten routed for further consideration, I was wondering if someone in this forum who specifically was interested in ICU was routed already?
