UC Davis Medical Center RN Residency Summer 2013

Published

Hey New Grads! I just wanted to start a post about the upcoming New Grad RN program at UC Davis. I thought it would be nice, and anxiety calming, to start a thread to share about the application process. I just finished my application. I was surprised there were no supplemental questions to fill out. Anyways, Good luck to everyone!

Oh yeah, Anyone else apply for previous cohorts? Maybe you could share some insight into the process. I'm hoping for a transplant position, I LOVE transplant nursing. I spent 2 rotations on a transplant unit in school in Colorado and LOVED it.

Best M

anyone dare call HR again today to inquire about job offers/rejection notices?

I know what you mean. All this waiting makes me anxious. I'm sure me reading this thread is not helping but its the only thing I dare do right now as I'm sure they are overwhelmed with things to do already.

hmm, so i interviewed a week ago and never got asked to do a skills survey. I'd say that's not looking good then. Boo!

Where did you interview? it could be different you can call HR to see if its all standard. :/

I interviewed on the Peds Inpatient unit.

What school did you graduate from? and I do not know how many they are hiring.[/quote']

I graduated from Sac State, I'll go talk to the manager Monday to see how many they're hiring

Sorry if you sent me a private message. I can't respond to it because the website says I'm still a fresh kid on the block. Apparently I have to have participated in so many discussions or threads prior to being able to send or reply to messages. :(

:( it's okay! I was just saying thanks and I appreciate the advice. And I wanted to ask if you can say if its more behavioral or clinical

For me it was a combination.

Hii did anyone have a change of status on your application from routed to "060-intvw"? However I did not receive any call yet. Anyone with same experience?

Yeah just noticed it. Ive been checking the status every 3 days or so. Haven't gotten a call yet, but this is promising.

Same with me but no call yet. Maybe they did it for all the applicants? Who knows.
