UALR 2019 NURSING APPLICANTS

Hey y’all ! I wanted to start a forum for the 2019 applicants for UALRS nursing program! I have a 3.2 in my nursing prerequisites and a 2.8 gpa with the university! I have all prerequisites done except for Chem ( I am currently taking micro now, spring 2019) And I am hoping to get accepted into the accelerated program. I thought this forum would be useful for us to keep up with what’s going on as far as letters going out , and program requirements!

I haven’t. I’m thinking we won’t hear anything until after midterm grades have been posted.

I haven’t yet but spoke with a few current nursing students in my stats class and 2 said they found out the Friday spring break began and the third said she remembers not getting her email until 2 weeks after returning from spring break... hopefully we hear something sooner than later

I too submitted my application this past January, my nerves are getting bad and I'm checking my email every 5 minutes. I'm currently taking microbioly and chemistry, and I will be finished with all of my prerequisites. My nursing GPA is currently 3.0. Hopefully we hear something soon.

I called, and the lady said we will not hear anything until towards the end of the month, and they definitely are not doing a july class at all either this year. they didn't have a lot of applicants so they will only be doing the may class. we probably will not hear anything until we return from spring break unfortunately, they are shaking things up this year... im so anxious its driving me insane. hopefully when I return from vacation ill have some good news!

So they will be accepting 100 accelerated track and 300 regular track students this year. I truly want to know how many completed applications they recieved. Only time will tell!!!!

I have also applied to the program and I can't keep my eye off of my email. This wait is driving me crazy.

I have made a weird observation but if you type in UALR nursing acceptance 2019 the page pops up to accept admission. I tried this yesterday and only 2018 popped up. So they have updated their website this morning for people to accept admission! So I believe the day is very soon!
