UALR 2019 NURSING APPLICANTS

Published

Hey y’all ! I wanted to start a forum for the 2019 applicants for UALRS nursing program! I have a 3.2 in my nursing prerequisites and a 2.8 gpa with the university! I have all prerequisites done except for Chem ( I am currently taking micro now, spring 2019) And I am hoping to get accepted into the accelerated program. I thought this forum would be useful for us to keep up with what’s going on as far as letters going out , and program requirements!

I understand that but if you were put on the waitlist they usually dont accept students till after transcripts are turned in. I havent received a email yet and I'm on the waitlist. And if you get put on the waitlist then your email is not a acceptance letter it's essentially a denial till you turn in your spring transcript cause your taking a class that is required to get in or your GPA isnt there like mine is till I finish this class I am

The only classes I need are micro and chem, both of which I am currently enrolled. Some students got in needing much more and some who needed much less didnt. I'm not sure why or how I recieved an email but orientation was last Saturday and I'm guessing they are filling the spots of those who didnt show up. Hopefully you will hear something soon

Congrats on getting in!

Anyone know what all goes on in the orientation tomorrow at 2pm??

Judging by the group I think they are gonna tell us the expectations and what all we have to purchase

What did yall do in orientation Saturday?

Omg!! They like driving us crazy..... Good luck I wonder how many seats are available

Have you gotten your second email from the waitlist on if you got in?

Yes! I accepted yesterday! In leaving work for orientation. Is it really going to last that long? Do I have to stay for the last hour?

That’s great!! I hope I’m next ??

We were told in orientation that there were over 700 applicants and 303 were accepted. I’m not sure how many spots are open though.

I wonder how many were wait listed
