UALR Nursing applicants 2018

Hi everyone!

I wanted to start post for all of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock nursing school applicants. Priority application submission starts today and ends Feb 28 but you can still apply after, you just risk being placed on the waiting list. I have all prereqs completed for ASN except Micro which i will take this summer and all completed for the BSN program. My nursing GPA is a 3.5 and my combined is a 3.7. Best of luck to you all!!

The pathway program partnered by ST Vincent pays for nursing courses only if you work @ st Vincent for two years after nursing completion. You will have a guarantee job after you receive your rn license.

I too applied in January 2018 for the Summer term, praying I hear something soon, this waiting is a little stressful. I will have all gen Ed completed with the exception of AP 2 and Chemistry, which I plan to take AP2 this summer. I have a GPA of 3.83.... I sent my app in on Jan 5(first day they were accepted. I emailed someone at the school and they said it could be the first of April. I was told that AP 2 did not have to be completed PRIOR to applying, I read that online too, but 4 hrs of AP1 was a requirement. I hope that is the case??

Correct! 4 hrs of A&P essentials or whatever class or A&P 1 must be completed. I'm sure your advisor would have caught that

I heard that they gonna try to let everyone know if they are accepted or not before spring break starts! I hope I get in, I still have to take chemistry and micro but as of right now I have a 4.0. Fingers crossed!

I still need micro and chem also! Are you planning to take them both during the summer?

It's exactly like what lis4mari3 stated, it's a 18 month program and they pay for your tution, the way you pay them back is by working at st Vincent under contract for 2 years. You'll have an immediate job after you're licensed.

I hope so. I have really bad anxiety. This wait is driving me crazy. I just want to know if I've been accepted, wait listed, or what!???! I hope we all get accepted

This wait is killing me! I'm really hoping we start hearing something by Friday. I hope we all get accepted too! I keep obsessively checking to see if anyone on here has heard anything yet
