I emailed them to ask if they expected any delay due to the covid-19 situation, but they said they would be letting everyone know something this month. I’m hoping to get into the FNP program so I can do ENP as well. Hope you get accepted!

Hey there. We definitely won't hear anything until the end of the month. I applied to AGACNP first choice and FNP second. I already got in to South Alabama for AGACNP, so my mind is more at ease however, would prefer UAB.

CONGRATS cschylern! That definitely has to take some pressure off for sure. I also emailed admissions earlier this month and was told they do not know the impact yet, but do not think timeline for admission decisions has changed at this time.

I applied to the ADN-MSN PMHNP - did not select a back up option as this is the only MSN concentration I want to pursue. Have a previous BS in Biology, 2.5 years inpatient psych experience as an assistant, and graduate with my ADN on 4/30/2020.

Feel like my essay was pretty good! Average GPA and obviously no RN experience, but hoping my inpatient psych experience and previous career experience may make up for that. Secured a Psych RN position for 6/1/2020. Hoping this is the time for an acceptance letter, but if not will probably reapply again for Spring. Was pretty impressed with the program, curriculum, cost, and entry-options from researching so many schools online.

Hello, RN applying for UAB Psych NP program. When I logged into my application I noticed this big red envelope with a red X. When I clicked on it, I received an error message? Does anyone know if these means I didn't get in? Has anyone seen this before?

I haven't seen that before. My page looks different, just says the application is complete and sent to the department for review.

Mine still says that my documents have been received and are under review ? I know in years past, the screen has said “A decision was made” and you get your yes/no answer in the mail. I’m not sure what that red envelope would mean..

There are two different URLs for the dashboard. One provides the envelope and the other doesn’t. I had to post this weird because entire URLs get hidden on these posts for some reason. Just paste these after the .com part of the uabirmingham.force. Anybody else see an envelope?
