I wanted to start this thread for the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) MSN program Fall 2019 applicants. We can use this thread to keep track of the application process, GPA, application deadlines and acceptance or denial letters. Also as a way to stay sane during this stressful time. Support each other during this journey to become an Advanced Pracrice Provider.
I am applying for Fall 2019 MSN Psych Program for PMHNP. I finish my BSN in May 2019 and have my ASN with a GPA of 3.76. My GPA for the BSN should be 4.0 if all stays the same grade wise. My letters of reccomendation are from the program director ar my University, a member of the Faculty team and the Nursing Director of the Surgical Services Department at my workplace. My application letter is APA formatted with at least 3 references and close to 800 word count. Application deadline for the PMHNP track is Febraury 21, 2019.
What specialty track are you all applying to? What are yor GPA scores. Do you plan on taking the GRE? Share any thoughts.
Did you try going to the right of the page where it says “events” and it has a drop down box that says “go to” and click on appointments and events and then it takes me to another page. Did it do it to you?

It opens a new window where it says I do not have access privileges or something like that.
Mine says insufficient privileges but to the left there’s other tabs...one has my name on it so I clicked on it. It gives me a banner ID but it says application status pending departmental review and when I click another tab that says nursing app status says pending gpa ??? this is stressful ?

Maybe you are ahead in the application process. You may be close to finding out hehehe.

I also looked there. On the left all it says its No Records to Display. Were you a UAB student on the past? Or a UAB employee?

I also have a banner ID, but not a blazer ID... What the difference between these two ID’s? In the past which one usually meant you may have got accepted?

I would say blazer ID... Where are you all seeing the banner ID? Mine shows nothing

Click on interviews then click on you name. Just talked my friend who was accepted last year, he said that he saw the banner ID before he found out officially that he was accepted.

I have a banner ID but it still says application status pending departmental review on one page and the other says pending GPA ?
