UAB FNP Summer 2017

Published

HI everyone! I am applying for the UAB FNP program for the Summer 2017 admission. Just wanted to get a page started for all that were applying so that we can keep each other motivated. Good luck to everyone :)

UPDATE! UPDATE!

I spoke to a very nice lady in the office of student affairs who stated notifications of acceptance/denials should start rolling out the middle of next week; email will be the primary way of notification, followed by US mail. The emails will be sent to the UAB email on file. So I guess for the non UAB affiliated, your best bet would be to create a UAB blazernet, from there you should be able to login into your email.

Wow, so was she saying we should receive some sort of email next week or the actual letter next week?

Letter and email I'm assuming.

Are y'all able to activate your account from the blazernet central?

So email only if we have a UAB email?? I still can not activate a blazernet account

I really would assume that they have no other choice but to foward those emails to personal emails if you do not currently have a active blazernet; the outlook email is directly connected to blazernet, so if u don't have one you don't have the other. However you know what they say about you when you ASSume. As petty as UAB is they will probably just make y'all wait until the letter comes in.

It's so weird that no one has been able to access their Blazernet accounts or see any holds yet. From reading most of the threads, this is the time where people are suppose to be seeing changes...hm...

Im SURE we will have our answers next week. Just tired of waiting, but it is what it is.

Me too! The longer I wait the more doubts I have about getting in. I still can't create a blazer account, and that doesn't help my nerves. I'm just hoping we all hear good news early next week.

What track are u applying for

I've already convinced myself that I haven't gotten in :(

I'm applying for pediatric primary and acute care with a backup of FNP with the emergency specialty.
