UAB Fall 2016

Hey everyone. I have applied to the Acute/Primary Peds NP program at UAB for fall 2016. I am currently driving myself crazy as I wait for my acceptance letter!! I figured I would write this post to see if anyone else wanted to be crazy with me while we wait!

I hate to bring the bad news but my friend who applied after me for fnp no speciality is able to login and see her speciality as fnp. I still can't login. UAB said letters were sent out Monday. There must have been a lot of us because this make three of us expecting rejection letters and one previous person on this post got her second option instead of fnp. I wish they posted how many ppl applied and the avg gpa. I'm assuming there is no waiting list.

I agree. I have looked for information on the average GPA and what exactly they look for. Oh well :-( Will look into other options

Has anyone gotten the packet yet ? I live in hoover which is close to uab and still haven't received it but my apt is horrible with losing mail.

So if I'm able to log in to Blazernet and see holds like needs drug screen, physical etc. does that mean i was accepted? Haven't received letter yet. Live in Ga.

Sounds like it! Congrats. Someone said letters were mailed Monday so something should be in our hands soon

Does it say a program under major ? The lady I talked to today said that meant yes
