UAB fall 2017 NP

Has anyone else applied for the Fall programs at UAB? I applied for the ACNP program. Just anxiously waiting to hear back at this point. I noticed in the past there have been groups. I figured I would start one. Anyone willing to share their stats?

I had to take the GRE but I have 8, almost 9 years of ER experience, CEN, CCRN and great recs. I do live out of state and I hear that counts against you.

I applied for their DNP program for Fall 2017. I keep checking Blazernet but it keeps telling me that no records are found. I'm anxiously waiting.

I applied for the Dual Primary and Acute care NP Program. I don't think I can wait till May to find out. The closer it gets the more nervous I get!

I just got an e-mail today that my application passed the reviewing committee and I will be contacted for an interview

I honestly don't remember. I know that I submitted it early just to get it over with.

I don't think there are interviews for the Masters program, that may be why she heard so soon.

I applied for their DNP-FNP program and was contacted to set up an interview with them next week. I'm a bit nervous and dread interviews.

Hey there! I too was contacted regarding an interview, but when I emailed them back I haven't received a response. I'm going to try one more time. I'm stationed in Japan with my husband so calling isn't really an option for me without an app.

So... I submitted my application on Feb 24th for MSN FNP. We have to wait til May to find out if we are accepted or not? I was thinking it was like 6 to 8 weeks but I could be confusing that with another program that I applied to...

Hey yeah the email said early May but last year they got their letters around the last week of April and apparently could see on blazer net about a week earlier then that. I've been checking blazer net everyday but haven't seen anything yet.

So my interview for UAB was postponed to Monday due to the storm, but I found out I got into UARK right the BSN to DNP program. They want a decision by the 14th which is like 4 days after my interview and I have no idea what to do. UAB is ranked a better school, but I don't know how all that works if I accept, then later get a thumbs up from UAB and then need to contact UARK because I would choose UAB. Anyone have any advice for that?!
