UAB Fall 2015 NP

Is anyone applying for Fall 2015 NP admission at UAB? I can't seem to find a thread on it and the deadline is very soon! I am applying for the adult-gero NP program.

Got my rejection letter. Too many applicants and not enough spots. I had a 3.8 GPA, 4 years ER experience and applied to the FNP track. Good luck to everyone that got in. I will be waiting on USA and Bama. Congrats to everyone!

Do you all plan to work full-time while in school full-time?

I plan to work full time for the first year unless it just gets to be way too much. I will go part time when clinicals start.

I work full time Monday-Friday at UAB (which is great because I get free tuition!). I'm saving up vacation days for clinicals and will have to come up with something creative for the residency.

Has anyone received their drug screen and background check information?

I have not received any info yet! Has anyone been successful with setting up the certified profile to upload medical clearance info? I'm stuck at the PIN part when trying to place the order...

I don't know if you can set up your own certified background account. I think you have to accept the 'invitation' to create the account which is in the email for the drug screen and background check.

New to allnurses but was just accepted at UAB fall 2015 adult gerontology primary care also. Called school today about ther certified profile for medical clearance and she had to put me in her system so that I could set up my account. Not sure what the delay is though
