I am so nervous waiting until May 31stish to get a letter. Is there anyone else on here apply to UAB for fall 2017 BSN??

If you're not applying but have heard of or been through the program could you give me any advice??

Have everyone you know read your essay. Hours help but so does gpa! I would focus on having some fun before you start nursing school!!

Any tips on resume? I know I am asking alot of question I am just very nervous that I won't make the cut!

Keep your resume very plain- black and white. Include all jobs and experience as your main priority. Awards/club memberships/leadership experience helps too

I just recently applied for the fall 2018 sesmester. I am very nervous and anxious!! I am a transfer student from GA. I have a 4.0 and 300 hours of work experience as a CNA. Do y'all think I have a pretty good chance of getting in? Also, if I were to get accepted is it possible to hold your acceptance for spring? Just curious!!

You'll be fine with a 4.0! That's what I had. I'm not sure about whether you can delay your acceptance. They will probably have you reapply for the Spring semester. But you'll be a sure thing! Don't be anxious, seriously! Have some fun and get some sleep. After you get in, that will disappear!

Hello! I applied for the fall 2018 semester and am feeling pretty nervous! I felt good about my essay and have a ton of direct patient care experience, but my GPA was not as strong as a lot of people I've seen post on this thread. I am a second degree bachelors student. What is the lowest GPA yall have seen get admitted in a fall semester? Thank you guys!!!

Hi! My daughter applied for this fall. She had a great essay, community service, and lots of volunteer hours. But her GPA was at 3.1, so we are very nervous. We know they should be hearing something over the next few days. Have you all gotten any feeling for what would be her chances?
