I hope all is well and Happy Nurse's Week to you all. I wanted to start a discussion forum for people who desire to apply for the UAB AMNP Program this Fall for the Spring 2019 class! My hopes are for everyone to gain insight in the application process, and have comfort in asking questions while receiving support and encouragement.
***If there are any students who are currently or have previously been in the UAB AMNP, please feel free to chime in to provide advice and any helpful tips from your experience with the application process as well as the overall program at large.

Hello All! My husband is applying for this program after being a Mechanical Engineer for several years. I feel like an applicant myself though! Good luck to everyone applying! We would be coming up from Auburn and we have a little girl. I'm a real estate agent. Rumor has it we should be getting emails in the next few weeks about interviews!
Getting the save the dates makes it feel more real! I'm getting very excited! Did anyone go to the AMNP info meetings? I wasn't able to attend because I live in the Atlanta and work during the week. Any good info they would like to share?
I haven't heard anything yet besides getting the save the date e-mail. I heard we would hear about interviews by around mid-October. I'm so excited for all of us! and nervous.

Also I don't think we would get a BSN and MSN. Just a generalist MSN that would let us practice as an RN.
