UA MEPN 2018

Hey everyone! I know the application deadline is a ways off, but I just wanted to get a forum started for those of us who plan on applying to the MEPN program for 2018! I have all my prerequisites finished and just have to take the HESI. I already took the TEAS for some other schools and scored very well, so I'm not too concerned about HESI as I hear it is a much easier exam without any science content required by UA. Has anyone already taken it? What did you think and how did you prepare? My last 60 units GPA is a 3.80 and my prerequisite GPA is a 3.96. I'm a little nervous about the interview as I have heard in the past it is very short- about ten minutes of talking time. I'll have to figure out how to eloquently but succinctly express my preparation for nursing school and interest in the field. Good luck everyone!!

You would likely get way more notice. Literally I was off the waitlist within 24 hours. There will be a lot of waitlist action within the month of acceptances going out. And if anyone ends up in the location not preferred you can get on a list to move as slots open up. We had several Phoenix people move and join the Tucson cohort after 1st semester.

And just FYI, if you do get waitlisted they will call when they have a spot open up. So make sure your phone information is up to date and answer those 520 numbers! Good luck to you all; you have really good odds when you get to the interviews.

Just a heads up. Talked to someone from the CON today. They said the earliest we'd receive notifications is tomorrow afternoon. If not tomorrow then for sure Monday.
