Hello,

(I looked for similar topic in forum, unable to find one).

Long story short, been living in U.S. for 12 years since moved from S. Korea. Never been out of state, and now living in U.S. with F-1 visa.

Been working as a nurse (OR) and manager at Ambulatory surgery center in California, and current employer is working on h1-b (manager title) and it is still pending after one RFE. I would like a back-up plan, as I am getting tired of waiting this visa and I would like my plan C. (Plan B is attending FNP school which I just started this August).

Any recommendation on agency who may be able to find me a hospital to sponsor me for green card?

I applied and interviewed with local hospital, Stanford, and Mayo Clinic. They offered me a position, but current visa situation got in the way.

I am looking for any hospital who would sponsor me. I am looking at Magnet status hospital as they can sponsor me using h1-b (since they require minimum of bachelor's degree for RN as well).

Please please help, I am tired of going to school and waiting for visa...

Magnet status doesn't require that hospitals only hire BSN prepared RNs. Did you find a specific hospital that is willing to say it requires a BSN for hire?

Hello, elkpark

I understand Magnet status doesn't necessarily require BSN. But for example, U penn hospital put BSN as a minimum requirement for nursing position that I may be interested in.

I am trying to find out if there is an agency who can facility the process with these certain hospitals.

Thank you for the response!
