U of Detroit Mercy

Has anyone applied to university of Detroit mercy 2018 crna cohort group? I have applied. I just want to see how many ppl applied, so we can get a conversation going as we go through the process of admission!

Not a whole lot other then looking into loans and such. I've been asking other students I used to work with who are in their first year of CRNA school in other schools any tips, suggestions, recommendations for starting. Haven't really got much other than "It's way harder then you expect" and "time management is key" haha I may shadow a few more times also. The other students I talked to say there's not really much you can do to prepare, just go in with a head down eyes forward kinda attitude.

Are both of you looking for apartments!? Sorry just getting around to re-checking this thread. I'm going to Detroit area within the next few months. Am hoping to find roommates to cut down on cost of living while paying for school!

Are you coming from in-state or out of state? I was born and raised in Michigan and went away for undergrad. I'll be moving back home to start CRNA school.

We should start that FB page. I'm coming from out of state Texas to be exact. I am hope to move to Michigan next month. Since you are from Michigan do you know decent apartments out there?

I haven't lived back there since 6 years ago so I don't know any specific apartments. But cities to look at that are nice locations are Livonia, Plymouth, Novi, Northville, And royal oak! They are all for the most part in pretty close proximity of the school and of each other. Hope that helps!
