I was waiting to see how many of you ended up being accepted. Out of sheer curiosity, what did

your application qualifications look like? I only applied to one school for this year, and am planning on

casting my net a little bit further for next time.

What I'd like to know in particular:

Amount of nursing experience/experience in ICU/Type of ICU

Committee involvement

Volunteer involvement

Types of certifications (i.e. CCRN, CMC, CSC, TNCC, etc.)

I am trying to figure out how to tweak my application for the next cycle!

Just found this thread! I got accepted to UofD Mercy SRNA Fall 2018 program too! I currently live in West Virginia where I did my undergrad but I was born and raised in Livonia, MI. Can't wait to come back!

crnataylor , I'll probably stay working where I am now for as long as I can to save as much money before starting school. I figure Ill move back late July, early August. How about you? Have you ever been to Michigan aside from your interview? Just curious what made you apply to UofD. :)

I will probably go as soon as possible. I need to get a feel for the city and find an apartment. I've never been to Michigan aside from the school. I've heard a lot of great things about the school, so it had my interest early.
