Hi guys, I went in today and they have 22 spots left for the transfer route but theyre still behind! they told me that they will not be lowering the average until next week probably and probably only to a 3.5 then. I'm at a 3.39 and am 8th on the waiting list so keep your hopes high!!!

All the best guys. The waiting game can be tiring but hold on there and be hopeful. I was in your shoes last year and the waiting drove me nuts. Congrats to those who got in already. I can tell you it is worth the wait! Cheers

Hey guys!
I was wondering what email you all use to send inquiries?
Is there a specific contact we have to email?
Thanks for all the info so far!

Most people get one of these
3M Littmann Classic III Stethoscope, Stainless-Steel-Finish Chestpiece, Black Tube, 27-Inch (562
Most people get one of the 3M Littmann Classic III Stethoscopes (~$100 -$120 on amazon) but I've seen various types. No requirements that I know of. You will need them within the first few weeks as soon as you start taking blood pressures. You might want to grab a stethoscope case and a pen light while you're at it. You won't use the pen light until term 4 (for checking pupils), but getting them all together saves on shipping =)
The faculty or so will make stethoscopes available for sale in the first few weeks. Lots of cool colours to choose from. 3M Littmann. It is optional anyway. You can purchase on Amazon. If you would like to specialize in Cardiology, I would advice you get Cardio stethoscope. Just my opinion. You will need it later. Cheers
Sorry for the double post earlier... thought my first post got deleted so I wrote a second one haha.
Yes the faculty sells the stethoscope, but, last year, they were more expensive than what you could find online and had fewer color choices. The proceeds of those stethoscope sales went towards student bursaries last year, so if you feel like donating to that, you can buy through the faculty.
