Type of calculator needed for pharmacology class

Published

I have a graphing calculator that I bought in high school and I was going to get rid because I rarely ever use it. But I just started nursing school and I've got a pharmacology class coming up this fall. Do you need a pretty high tech calculator for pharmacology or will a regular scientific calculator (the ones that are like $12) work better?

Like others, we were required to have just a basic calculator - and it was necessary for our class as the calculations on the exams were more complicated than one could accomplish by doing long-hand multiplication or division in the allotted time.

I picked my calculator up at Target for under $5.

I have heard Ti's are overkill, go cheap is what I have heard.
