I'm starting my first semester of the nursing program on Aug. 25th. I'm extremely excited to start:yeah: but have not found out the days or times of classes. If anyone that has been in the program here or just starting and can give input on what kind of schedule to expectI would greatly appreciate it! I'm trying to work on drop off and pickups for my two kids and need a general idea how many days I'll need schedule other transportation for them.

Thanks!:nurse:

Hi and congratulations to all or you! I am stilll in the pre req stage..am applying to ADN in jan 10. I am trying to decide on a professor for A&P I--either Dr. Ott, or Dr. Gray. I am a great student and study ALOT! I'm not looking for an easy class, just someone fair and who is approachable if I need help or have questions. I hear Dr. Gray is especially hard. Also, does it matter if I take a&P I 2 vs. 3 days a week? What is the differences between these two proffesors?

Desparate, time to register

Thanks, Shashy

Dr Grey is awesome and so is Dr Ott

I would love to hear from any of you who are in the TJC nursing program. I am moving there from CA within the next 6 months and could use some advice. Thanks gals (and guys)

I'm not a TJC student but will begin nursing school at TVCC, however I do correspond often with a current TJC nursing student. She is very helpful and more than willing to explain anything you want to know. The following is her journal thru NS (you can e-mail her also).

I purchased an iTouch to use during nursing school and really love it! There are lots of medical applications for it. I would rather have been able to purchase the iPhone but decided not to at this time. You might want to check it out!

tripletmom08, nice to see you on here! ican has been a great person to correspond with and i appreciate her keeping me in mind for you! crimson is also a good friend of mine, and can also give you some insight on tjc, as she will be starting her 3rd semester there. almost there, girl!!! just come on to tyler, everything will work out for you. if we three can do it, you can surely make it through school!!!

it was nice being back on here and "chatting" with you ladies~

Haha, no I'm not scared away, lol. Just figuring how to get all my ducks in a row so I can apply and take that darn HESI A2.

Hello, I am about to take the HESI A2 so I can apply for RN program at TJC. A lady in my A&P class said today that it wasn't too bad, just study the study guide. She said the HESI was just like the practice tests in the study guide. I hope she is right...lol!

Good luck on everything!!!
