I'm in the process of applying for TJC's transition program for Spring 2019.

I'm currently living about 5-6h away from Tyler, but will be moving if I'm accepted.

Just wanted to see if maybe there is anyone else on here that is also applying for the program OR anyone who has previously applied &/or completed the program!

Thank yall!

Hello,

I just joined looking for a thread regarding TJC and I found this one. I too applied to the Spring 2019 program and received an email for interview on Thur. Congratulations to those who move on to stage 2 and to those who didn't, don't be discouraged and never give up. I scored a level 1 also on the ATI and my points were 24.850. When I received my letter giving me my points, my application stated complete. I am not sure how the point system goes either because I had a friend score 23 and she didn't get in. Good luck to those that are doing the MMI.

I'm glad that you found us! We're all just as confused about these points. My email that was r/t my points just said 23 & COMPLETE. I wonder how the whole interview process is going to go.

Especially the task with a partner part....Does anyone know if anybody who has went through the interview process before? Any tips?

Hey guys, just found this thread. I just got my MMI appointment for Thursday morning, I'm REALLY nervous about it and I haven't found too much information about what it is like. Let me know how yalls interviews go, good luck to us all!

I'm extremely nervous, too! I keep reading & re-reading the email they sent us with the "station" information. Holy crap, it's intense! I wonder how many they're interviewing total. I wish that we know of someone that interviewed/been accepted previously that we could talk to.

Hey Guys,

Goodluck with the interview. Just wanted to update you guys on my phone call today with the department. So the reason I didn't move on was because my Immunizations were still pending reviews. I am upset and disappointed because I was told we could submit them. She said exceptions were not made because a lot of people had theirs complete this year. Goodluck to you all

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that you apply & are accepted somewhere else--or that you reapply next year & get an interview w/Tyler! Good luck!!

Omg!!.... Today is the day!!... I'm super nervous!!

How was your interview?

How was everyone's interview?

I felt like my interview went well! It was A LOT to take in & a lot of questions! Definitely gave my nerves a run for their money! Now I just have to sit & wait until next Friday!! Someone told me yesterday that they had 150 applicants, they didn't know how many they interviewed--but they were told that they're only taking 20-25.

Wow!!.. 150 before the MMI ? And that must have been for both traditional and online I'm hoping.... and everyone we met at the interview...lol... what were the odds of that!!

Overall, it wasn't too bad, I just tend to get really nervous during interviews :(
