Tyler Junior College LVN-RN Hybrid PM Spring 2019.

I'm in the process of applying for TJC's transition program for Spring 2019.

I'm currently living about 5-6h away from Tyler, but will be moving if I'm accepted.

Just wanted to see if maybe there is anyone else on here that is also applying for the program OR anyone who has previously applied &/or completed the program!

I just received my email. It says my application is COMPLETE & then it gives me "stage one points" with a score & I'm not sure what that is for? I hope that ya'll received good emails!

I just received my email. It says the same, my application is complete and then gives me my points.

I did as well and got my points too, but it says incomplete for mine due to my TB test I submitted on 7/31/18 around 1800 to castle branch. It said in my comment section I was non compliant, I guess when they checked it wasn'ton there yet. I have emailed them to correct it. So glad Castle branch keeps a record of when we upload documents.

Does anyone have any idea what the point system is for or if there is a cut off for minimum amount if points needed to be accepted?

I have no idea, good thing is u scored level 2 in ur ATI so u should be good. I have a strong feeling u will get in. In case of a tie they said they will use ATI scores to be the tie breaker. 10 more days and we will all know if we are moving on to the Interview stage.

The thing that worries me is that I live 5 hours away. I don't want that to ruin my chances of getting in, because I'm willing to relocate! And I know that you get "extra points" if you're in district! I hope that the next week & a half go by quickly & that we ALL get in!

Hey Y'all anyone excited and waiting anxiously to receive the email that says you are making it to the interview stage!! Am so nervous I hope and pray we all made it. Pls post if u guys get an email. Goodluck

Yes! I hope they send them out quickly & don't want until 5 o'clock or later!

Hey! I was wondering if a thread had been started for tjc's transition program. I too applied.

I am so nervous. On my ati result sheet it said 89 people took the test...is that for both traditional and transition?

One other question lol... everyone will get an email regardless, saying your moving on to MMI or your not, right? Good luck to you all.

Yes I just spoke to someone at the office. She said they got lots of applicants so they are behind. They are working hard to send everyone an email. The ATI test was for both the transition and traditional students that's why there were so many people. We all do have the same timeline also for notifications. Goodluck

Girl i keep checkin every 5 min. Lol between here and my email. Im so nervous. I hope that of the 89 test takers, majority was for traditional. I NEED to get in. Ahhhh
