TXBON rules and policy about the 4 year span to pass the Nlcex

hi everyone. This the first time writing in this forum. I have question about the TXBON 4 year policy to pass the Nclex RN.All international applicants must show proof of working in nursing for a period totaling two (2) years (i.e. 24 months)

at any time after graduation from a nursing program.

If you have not worked at least two (2) years as a first level, general nurse within the four (4) years preceding the filing

of the application.

I'm an immigrant or permanent resident of the US since 2007. I took nursing before I got in the US. So I just been back and forth to finish my study. After graduation may 2011. I applied to CABON I wasn't approved because the change of rules to go back to school requirements or something. Anyway since I'm living in texas, they require a foreign license of the CES. So I went back to the Phil. to take my PNLE so pass 2014. Then I registred TXBON. It was a long processed but I got my ATT already this march 9, 2015.

So my main concern is the TXBON told me that I could only take my NCLEX RN 1 attempt only because the date of my graduation is may 12, 2011. So within the 4 year span to pass the NLCEX RN. Its 2015 now. My deadline is before may 12 to pass the nclex.

This what I mean:

The applicant required to take the FENS refresher will be given a six (6) month permit to completethe refresher course. Further instruction will be provided upon passing the NCLEX-RN® examination.

So I'm overwhelmed with I lot question in my head. If I couldn't pass this Nclex what would I do because its over 4 years. And they said I have to do my nursing in the phil., or something. I don't understand them.

Question:

1. What do the TXBON mean?

2. If ever I don't passed could I apply to another state? would the board of nursing allow that?

3. What are my other option?

It's basically proof of working as a nurse for at least 2 years, if you don't have that much experience yet, then even if you pass your NCLEX exam you won't be licensed unless you do a refresher course.

Texas BON is wrong, You have 4 years to pass the test after you register with Texas BON.

Call back and talk to a supervisor or send a email to TX BON. They do have some dummys answering the phones, but most of the time you will get a person who knows what they are talking about.
