That is what I was wondering. I wish I knew this before. What really upsets me is that I spoke with customer service on 2 different occasions and they said I didn't need to submit a declaratory order. To submit all my copies of the previous order when I applied for the NCLEX-RN exam. Thanks for replying

Hello,
I am currently a LVN in Texas and graduating in May from a RN program. I submitted my application for the NCLEX in February (90 days before graduating) along with all the copies I submitted and received from the TX BON from the previous licensure process. I received a letter from the BON yesterday stating that my application was being reviewed by the enforcement dept. and could take 3-6 months!!! I have no new criminal history. I was charged with a misdemeanor when I was 17 years old (9 yrs ago). I talked to customer service 2 times last year regarding my criminal background and was told was to submit all the copies of my previous declaratory order when submitting my application. I was told I didn't need to submit a new declaratory order. Has anyone gone through this before? Any suggestions? Does anyone know why my file has to be reviewed again?
Please help!
