I am sorry if this has already been answered, but I would like to know if it possible to take pathophysiology in the summer (summer 2010) after my initial nursing semester (spring 2010) so as to lighten my load in the spring. I am planning to speak to an advisor this week, but in the mean time the suspense is killing me .
I know many people have taken it in the summer prior to their admission into the program... Is it also possible to delay taking by one semester as stated above?
Thanks so much fo taking the time to answer.

Hey TypeA++
In the TWU course catalog Pathophysiology is considered a co-requisite to the first semester nursing courses. But I would see an advisor to double check that.
Rha_Hea,
You are right. I just spoke with someone in Dallas this afternoon. Must do patho along with the other classes. Too bad...I'll just have to bust my behind . Have you already done patho... If so, any pointers? I may use the Christmas break to familarize myself with some of the concepts. Do you know what book is used by the Dallas professor?
I am taking Patho right now in Denton. I would think in Dallas they would use the same book, we are using 'Pathophysiology, 5th edition, by McCance'. It's silver.
As for pointers...study hard, notecards have helped me a lot. But there is just a lot of material!
Thanks so much Rha_Rea! I will order a copy from Amazon this week.
