Published

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

I hope so! Fingers crossed!!!

Gotta speak it into existence! Lol!

Maybe this will help us pass the time, maybe not... But what area of nursing are you guys interested in?

For me, I am not sure. I have a Masters in Public Health and have worked in prevention and healthy living for almost 8 years and it's an area I love and am passionate about. I'm thinking something that connects the two fields would be perfect!

For me....I'm not sure yet...lol

I have always been interested in fast paced areas, or areas where you need a special focus. I have been deciding between ER, OR, any type of ICU, labor and delivery/post partum (because babies). It’s a lot I know ? but hopefully I’ll narrow it down.

@Noor Chreidi did you ever hear back from the advisors/director of nursing you emailed yesterday?

Lol nothing wrong with not knowing. This will be career #2 (obviously) so I’m def keeping an open mind. In undergrad I thought I wanted to be a dentist so I’ve learned the staying open minded lesson a few times
