I would like to post a forum for this upcoming application cycle for Spring 2017 @TWU-Houston. It is early but we can help each other here.

I will be finishing my last semester of my last prereq courses before this app cycle.

Do you mind sharing your stats? I'm just trying to figure out if it's even worth my time to apply to certain schools

Hello!

My Pre-Req GPA is a 3.56 currently, however, I may re-take statistics over the summer in hopes of earning an A to increase my GPA to a 3.68 before application deadline.

I am also taking my TEAS on the 27th of this month!

I am considering applying… I am taking Chemistry again this summer and I have to take the texas government (online, Im living in florida) so I might be cutting it close. GPA is 3.2 at the moment so I might not apply and just retake A&P1 and hope to get an A to replace that B. =/

Hello everyone! I'm also applying for twu in the spring 2017. I have a BSN already and I'm retaking all my sciences (I know there's not a time limit) but I took them 5+ years ago and I need a better grade then a B.

One of my concerns is that I spoke with a girl who went to see the advisor months ago and she was told tuition was going to change after this May and the program would go from $22,000+ to 35,000...has anyone heard about his? I went last week and the advisor told me $22,000 so I was thinking about emailing her...:down:

Hello everyone. I am applying for the Spring as well. I'm retaking Chemistry this summer and also taking my TEAS in June! Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Im super nervous about it. My GPA is a 3.4 currently. I hope I make a good grade because I really dont have a back up plan. Nursing is the only thing I have ever wanted to do.

Hi everyone! I'm currently in my last semester of the 2 year RN program I am in. I've applied to the RN-MS degree. I have not sent my GRE scores but will be soon. I was accepted to the RN-BS program already. Even though we may be in different programs, we might have similar courses. I can't find any other threads for my degree plan. Good luck everyone!

Good luck to everyone! :) I'm super nervous about this whole application process. I have a 3.42 nursing core, 3.75 science and 3.51 overall pre-req GPA with an 85%(89.6 science) on the TEAS. TWU Houston is my top choice school and I'm reallyyyyy scared I won't get accepted. All we can do now is wait and see, I guess! :nailbiting:

Hi all! I finally got accepted to TWU and I have now started the nursing application. Out of curiosity did any of you use references? And for those who did well on the science portion what all did you study? Im super nervous about that section!

TWU doesn't look at references!

Khan academy on YouTube helped a lot!

There's an option for references on the nursing application... thats weird.
