TWU Houston Apartments

Hello everyone!

I will be attending the TWU Nursing Program at the Houston Campus this Fall. I wanted to ask current or even future students to recommend any apartments near the Medical Center? The reason why I say near is because of the high cost of living directly IN the Medical Center.

I know that there are previous posts about this topic but I would like to hear updated reviews. I am looking for an affordable, yet safe area to stay in..My roommate (is also in the nursing program) and I would like a 2 bedroom/bath apartment within the range of $800-$1000.

We would prefer somewhere close to the rail! Also, we are even open to a third roommate!

Anything along the rail is going to be very pricey. Take a look at housing along the 288 corridor - towards Pearland. It is a very short commute. Lots of TMC folks live in that area. You may even be able to find a house for rent that would be suitable for a multi-roommate arrangement.

You're not going to find a 2/2 in a safe area inside the 610 loop...1/1 go for over 1200
