TWU Fall 2021 Applicants

Hello Everyone,

I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.

Yeah cause I thought it was points based. I tried calling and emailing but no one responded back.

I called because I didn't receive an email either but I had received one for eligibility, but they said that they are still sending out stuff so as long as you got that first email for eligibility you will receive one for either denying you, waitlisting you, or accepting you. I was stressed too but I called and they said not to and that they are still working on them!

doesn't make even more sense. if they are truly points based they should start with highest and work their way down until they have a full cohort, not backwards.

Oh OK, I was so stressed cause everyone was getting emails. What is your admission score if you don’t mind me asking?

I think mine was 52 or something like that cant really remember but IDK what TWU bases their admissions on.

Wow your score is really good! I think previous semesters it’s been based on points, but I’m not sure if they changed criteria this year. Hopefully we hear something soon!

I see scores much lower than mine getting in. no shade to ya'll, congrats by all means!! I'm so happy for ya'll but I should've gotten an email and haven't ?

I guess this is the universe telling me I am meant to keep my spot at UTA

I'm sorry! Have you checked your spam? They send it with a no-reply email address so sometimes it will end up there. I think TWU has been trying to look at experience too. Like people who have worked as CNAs and things like that, but I'm not really sure. Either way your scores are really good, and you should be proud of that!

Yes. It’s not my first time applying to TWU so I know how it goes very well. 
 

looking at other factors other than scores won’t take effect until Spring 2022 applications. For fall 2021 it was strictly based in the scores and points we got.

I never worked a day

I never worked in the medical field. I thought I wouldn’t get accepted ?

Well I didn’t receive anything all day, so I’m guessing the acceptances have already all gone out cause I think everyone gets them on the same day.

It shows we have until April 9th to accept or decline admission.
