TWU Fall 2020 Applicants

Updated:   Published

Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:

Overall: 85.3%

Reading: 87.2%

Math: 96.9%

Science: 74.5%

English: 83.3%

I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.

I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.

Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

Can anybody provide information about the best insurance plans ? The acceptance letter says student insurance is a must and it is very expensive. Comments and suggestions please !

I had to get on one of the marketplace plans (BCBS HMO). The monthly premium is adjusted based on your expected income for the year. I had an insurance broker help me get signed up during open enrollment. You would have to qualify for an exception to be able to enroll out of the open enrollment period.

I got accepted to Dallas Traditional. Right now I'm enrolled in classes I was retaking because I had planned not to get accepted this cycle and use my new grades for the next. However, God had different plans and I am not complaining! Am I good to just withdraw from those classes?

I got into Night & Weekend!

I'm literally crying!

I sent a request for the facebook group!
