Hello, I am taking the TEAS V this Thursday and sooo nervous. I am taking the second practice test from the study guide tomorrow and trying not to worry too much... Anyone else applying to TWU-Dallas for Fall 2012?

SSRM - not in any classes yet. I saw that you are taking Patho now? I think I'm going to try taking it this summer. Have you had your first test yet? How is it??

Hello all hopefuls!

I am a current pre-nursing student at TWU Denton. I applied to the TWU Dallas campus for this Spring 2012, but my TEAS score wasn't even considered because I blew it with a 62. I re-took it Jan.13th and scored 70%. Can't say I am too satisfied with it, but I will have to stick with it for now. However, I know many students who were accepted and scored the minimum passing score of 64%. I have a 4.1 with the gpa bump and all A's on first attempts, except for A&P 2 lab; I actually ended up with a C in that course (horrible professor). My science gpa is still competitive so hopefully that will get me in! I also applied to UTA, UTMB, and UTHSC San Antonio. Please feel free to reply! I am open to connecting with you all as we await this stressful period!

omg! i didn't know that! i did exactly what you were planning to do; mailing all my official transcripts together in a large envelope. :eek: i'm totally bummed now!

I would call the nursing department and verify with them -- maybe if you give them the official copies you have, they'll give you a little bit more time to get the colleges to send theirs... It's worth a try! If not, I know most colleges send electronic transcripts so they may still get there in time if you ask them to rush it...

i just saw that also, applied and wanted to send my transcripts in! ughh i don't know what the difference is if the envelopes are still sealed with the official mark. contact the twu and see what they say. i really want to send them all instead of paying for transcripts i already have :/

Okay, I called Student Records. Each individual, official transcript has to be in a sealed envelope; however, they can be mailed in all together. Hope that clears up any confusion.

ok so to be clear lol it doesn't have to be sent from the school? It just has to be an official copy in a sealed envelope and I can send them all right?
